Location: Wilmslow, UK
Hours: Typically Monday - Friday, 9am to 5:30pm with a thirty minute lunch break. There may be weekend or event based work that would alter the hours required.
Vinco Sport Ltd is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Digital Media Intern to support our sports content and coverage from April through to the end of August. This is an opportunity to gain practical experience in digital publishing, social media and video production while helping bring sporting stories to life.
About the role
You’ll work alongside our team to create engaging content across our digital channels. From preparing social media posts to supporting event coverage, you’ll develop your skills in a busy sports media environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating and scheduling content for social media and other digital platforms.
- Editing short-form videos, highlights and interviews.
- Writing clear, accurate captions, articles and event previews.
- Supporting coverage of sporting events, including live updates and behind-the-scenes content.
- Researching athletes, events and story ideas.
- Organising photos, video footage and other digital assets.
- Monitoring content performance and suggesting ways to improve engagement.
- Helping with day-to-day digital media tasks and team projects.
About you
We’re looking for someone with:
- A strong interest in sport, digital media and storytelling.
- Good written communication skills and attention to detail.
- An understanding of social media platforms and what makes content engaging.
- A willingness to learn, contribute ideas and respond to feedback.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- A collaborative approach and confidence working independently.
Experience with video editing, photography, graphic design or content creation would be useful, but is not essential. Personal projects, student media and volunteer experience are all welcome.
