Triathlon Scotland is looking for an Events Lead (Clubs) to support event organisers in delivering exceptional race experiences.
The Role
The role is responsible for the strategic planning and financial management of events, supporting both club and commercial organisers to deliver races that inspire participation, celebrate achievement and showcase triathlon at its best.
You will provide operational leadership, hold budget accountability and make sure events meet organisational objectives, governance requirements and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead an annual calendar of safe, high-quality events, including club-led Swim Bike Run (SBR) opportunities
- Plan and deliver SBR mini and club events with clubs and communities
- Administer the event permitting process and review event documentation
- Lead the development of Event Organisers through formal courses and ongoing support
- Develop, manage and monitor event budgets and supplier contracts
- Act as the primary liaison with Event Organisers and partners for club events
About You
- Experience planning and delivering events or programmes with multiple stakeholders
- Experience managing operational budgets
- Experience building relationships with clubs, volunteers and partners
- Understanding of governance, risk, health and safety and safeguarding for events
- Desirable: experience in a governing body or membership organisation, or of event permitting

- Location: Stirling, with travel as required
- Contract: Full time, permanent
- Salary: £30,000
