Trafford Leisure has a new opportunity for a Full-Time Lifeguard to join the team.

Location: Stretford Leisure Centre
Hours: 36.25 hours per week (full-time)
Job Type: Permanent
Rate: £13.60 per hour

Please note: to be eligible for this role, you must hold a valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) and be able to commit to full-time hours on a permanent basis.

About the Role

As a Lifeguard, you'll play an important role in ensuring every customer has a safe, enjoyable and positive experience when visiting our centre.

Your responsibilities will include:

Ensuring the safety of all swimming customers by providing vigilant lifeguard support.
Delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
Meeting and greeting customers and checking them into activities.
Setting up activity areas and equipment to meet programme requirements.
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the centre.
Working as part of a team to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the facility.
To Be Successful in This Role

You'll have:

A valid Royal Life Saving Society National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).
A passion for providing excellent customer service.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

This position is 36.25 hours per week, averaged across a rolling rota which includes morning, evening and weekend shifts.
