The Role

We’re recruiting a Senior Manager, Commercial Operations to play a pivotal leadership role within our Partnership Development team. This individual will elevate our operational foundation by optimising systems, processes, and resources—most critically Salesforce—to drive scalable, efficient, and insight-driven partnership growth.

In this role, you will be the operational engine behind the partnerships business, overseeing system configuration, workflow optimisation, data integrity, and the development of commercial tools that empower teams to perform at their best. You will also manage and mentor a Commercial Operations Executive, ensuring strong performance, clear development pathways, and a culture of continuous improvement.

This is a high-impact role central to the success of the Partnerships department, offering significant opportunities for leadership growth and cross-functional influence.

About You

System & Technology Optimisation

  • Lead the design, enhancement, and ongoing optimisation of Salesforce (CRM) as the core system supporting our partnership lifecycle—ensuring data accuracy, process automation, and intuitive workflows.
  • Oversee configuration and adoption of Monday.com and other operational tools to improve task management, visibility, and cross-team collaboration.
  • Enable data-driven decision-making by improving reporting, dashboards, and analytics that guide revenue strategy, forecasting, and team performance.
  • Champion system adoption across the Partnerships team through training, documentation, and continuous optimisation.

Product & Asset Optimisation

  • Own the development, standardisation, and scalability of the Club’s partnership asset portfolio to maximise value delivered and increase revenue potential.
  • Manage the efficient allocation and optimisation of partnership assets across all agreements, ensuring inventory is leveraged strategically and responsibly.
  • Lead projects to evolve partnership assets in line with market needs and the Club’s operational capabilities.
  • Oversee asset inventory forecasting and contribute to the evaluation and approval of new partnership agreements.

Process Optimisation & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Map, refine, and document workflows to strengthen operational connectivity across the Partnerships department and improve team efficiency.
  • Lead cross-functional operational projects with key internal teams—particularly Marketing, Content, and other commercial units—to enhance delivery of partnership value.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvements by analysing process gaps, recommending solutions, and advising Partnership leadership on optimisation opportunities.

What You Will Bring

  • A leadership mindset, with proven experience mentoring and developing team members and creating a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • A proactive, self-starting approach with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively across multiple internal functions.
  • Strong experience with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce), including configuration, reporting, process design, and user adoption.
  • Understanding of commercial revenue sources for global sports rights holders and how sponsorship drives overall commercial performance.
  • Deep insight into partnership assets, activation strategies, and the commercial levers that maximise partnership value and revenue.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities, using data to generate actionable insights and guide strategic decisions.
  • A forward-thinking mindset, consistently anticipating needs, identifying efficiencies, and proposing innovative solutions.
