The R&A engages in and supports activities undertaken for the benefit of the sport of golf.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Championships department as Catering Planning & Delivery Manager. The successful candidate will lead on the annual planning, logistics and implementation of catering operations for Championships, such as, The Open and AIG Women’s Open, collaborating with internal and a wide variety of external stakeholders. The individual will facilitate the delivery of catering operations at the championships to an industry leading world class standard, in line with agreed tolerances, departmental and organisational aims.
This is a full-time, permanent position working 35 hours per week.
This role is St Andrews based, working on a hybrid basis – 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home. There may be some flexibility on this.
The successful candidate will be required to work onsite at The AIG Women’s Open. There will also be travel required, predominantly in GB&I.

About The R&A
The R&A group of companies was formed in 2004 to take on The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews’ responsibilities for governing the Rules of Golf, staging The Open, golf’s original championship, and developing the sport. The World Golf Museum in St Andrews is part of The R&A group.
