The Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) is looking for a regionally based Coach Developer to join its established team of 15 across the professional game.
The Role
You will deliver coach education to current and former professional players, travelling regularly to clubs mainly in the Midlands. This is a hybrid role, with a home office in either Manchester or London.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver the FA UEFA C award to your allocated group of professional clubs (or train towards licensed tutor status)
- Mentor and support course candidates
- Maintain CPD for your coaching awards and FA licensed tutor status
- Take part in internal verification and sampling to maintain standards
- Keep accurate electronic records of course delivery and member interactions
About You
- A current UEFA A Licence (preferred) and, ideally, FA licensed tutor status for the UEFA C award
- Knowledge and experience of the English professional game and EPPP
- Experience working with elite players, particularly in an academy setting
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A full, clean UK driving licence and an enhanced DBS check
