The Pony Club is looking to appoint a Safeguarding Trustee who is passionate about creating safe, inclusive and positive environments where everyone feels respected and supported.
The Role
This voluntary role will provide strategic safeguarding oversight and assurance to the Board, helping The Pony Club achieve and maintain the highest standards of safeguarding as part of its 2026–2030 strategy and Centenary Programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic safeguarding leadership, oversight and assurance to the Board
- Help embed safeguarding across organisational governance, practice and culture
- Support the Board in identifying and managing safeguarding risks
- Provide informed challenge and practical advice to the Board and Senior Management Team
- Chair The Pony Club’s proposed Safeguarding and Integrity Committee
