The Pony Club is ‘the’ starting point for any young person, under the age of 25, who wants to learn how to ride and care for horses and ponies.

We are looking to appoint a trustee who is passionate about creating safe, inclusive and positive environments where everyone feels respected and supported. This voluntary role will provide strategic safeguarding oversight and assurance to the Board, helping The Pony Club achieve and maintain the highest standards of safeguarding as part of our 2026–2030 strategy and Centenary Programme.
Provide strategic safeguarding leadership, oversight and assurance to the Board
Help embed safeguarding across organisational governance, practice and culture
Support the Board in identifying and managing safeguarding risks
Provide informed challenge and practical advice to the Board and Senior Management Team
Chair The Pony Club’s proposed Safeguarding and Integrity Committee
