The successful applicant will support in the delivery of world leading football performance analysis to the England Senior Women's team, and will be a key factor in decision making within the coaching process.
What will you be doing?
- Support identified England Women's teams in competition and major tournaments through the provision of video, data, and other resources which optimise the teams match & tournament preparations.
- Support the filming and capture of Senior Training sessions & fixtures as required.
- Support the preparation of Opposition Team and Player profiles.
- Support the weekly management of domestic footage and player clips to aid senior scouting processes.
- Support the use of observation, video and data to support the scouting process for England Senior squad selection.
- Targeted Collection of England Women HWP specific team metrics within the analysis framework to deliver effective, consistent insights to inform a winning strategy for England Senior team.
- Targeted collection of England Women HWP specific player metrics from both Club and International matches.
- Contribute to key player case studies and projects that help underpin and support our players impactful player IDP development.
- Assist the Under 23 Analyst with priority player projects to support integration of players into Senior team.
- Support the delivery of research projects to provide insights to key stakeholders, including major tournament reviews.
- Executes additional tasks as required to meet FA Group changing priorities.

- As part of the FA's commitment to ensuring a safe environment for everyone in football, every employee will be required to complete a DBS check. The level of the check required will be based on the activity of the specific job role and in line with legislation and government guidance.
What are we looking for?
Essential for the role:
- A qualification at degree level (or equivalent) in sports science or a related subject specialising in performance analysis.
- Experience in successfully delivering performance analysis services in elite sport.
- Experience of advanced match tagging & data collection.
- High level knowledge of and proficiency in the use of sports analysis systems including Hudl Sportscode & Hudl Studio.
- Basic level knowledge of and proficiency in other relevant technologies including Microsoft Office & Tableau Cloud.
- Knowledge of football and the tactical requirements of international football.
- Excellent planning skills.
Beneficial to have:
- Master's degree in performance analysis or related discipline.
- Ability to create presentations and present to a wide range of key stakeholders.
- Experience in Data Analysis & visualisation software.
- Football coaching award.
- Basic level knowledge of Matchtracker software.
