At The FA, we're continuing to evolve the technology that supports our people and operations. Following the successful implementation of Workday across HR and Finance, we're looking for a Product Manager to lead the future development of our Corporate product portfolio, including Workday and Digital Payments.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of products that are critical to how The FA operates. You'll work closely with HR, Finance, Technology teams and external partners to ensure our platforms deliver value, meet business needs and continue to evolve in line with our strategic objectives.

We're looking for someone who combines strong product management expertise with experience of Workday. You will be comfortable building relationships, balancing priorities, managing suppliers and working with stakeholders to make informed decisions.

What will you be doing?

  • Own the vision, strategy and roadmap for Workday, Digital Payments and associated Corporate products.
  • Lead annual product planning, ensuring priorities align with business goals and investment plans.
  • Partner with HR, Finance and Technology stakeholders to understand needs and pain points and translate them into product outcomes.
  • Manage product budgets, vendor relationships and third-party service providers, including Workday and AMS partners.
  • Drive continuous improvement across the Workday platform, including new functionality, releases and enhancements.
  • Champion a high-quality user experience, ensuring products remain secure, effective and aligned with business requirements.
  • Monitor product performance, define success measures and use data and feedback to inform future priorities.
  • Work closely with Product Owners and delivery teams to ensure roadmaps are translated into successful outcomes.

What are we looking for?

  • Significant experience managing Workday products, platforms or programmes, including implementation and ongoing optimisation in a live environment.
  • Strong understanding of Workday architecture, integrations, governance and capabilities.
  • Experience developing product strategies, roadmaps and investment plans that deliver business value.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and make informed decisions based on user, business and technical needs.
  • Experience managing suppliers, contracts and strategic technology partners.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working within Agile product delivery environments and measuring success through KPIs, OKRs or similar frameworks.
  • Experience of digital payments products and services.
  • Desirable to have experience of using Artificial Intelligence to aid productivity and to help deliver an enhanced user experience.

Why join us?

This is a chance to shape the future of technology products used across The FA. You'll have ownership of a mature Workday platform, influence strategic decisions and work with colleagues across the organisation to deliver products that create lasting business value.

If you're an experienced Workday professional who enjoys collaborating with stakeholders, improving products and delivering meaningful outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.

What's in it for you?

We are committed to ensuring everyone can flourish in their roles. To achieve this, we have unique office spaces under the arch of the iconic Wembley National Stadium, which is the home of English Football. We are also delighted to offer a world-class, Elite Performance Centre, St. George's Park in Staffordshire, which is an exceptional setting to develop and inspire high-performing England teams and leaders.

We pride ourselves on offering a competitive salary as well as great opportunities to develop and grow in your role. But that is not all; we also have a range of exciting benefits, some of which can be found below:

  • Private medical cover funded by The FA.
  • A contributory pension scheme.
  • An additional 'Thank You' day's leave, volunteering days, as well as 25 days of annual leave (based on a full-time, permanent contract)
  • A hybrid working model which offers greater flexibility.
