The FA are excited to be searching for a Partnership Lead to join our FA Learning department. In this key role, you will support the strategic pillar in line with the FA Learning 2024-2028 strategy of developing valued partnerships.

The business unit has several significant partnerships, and this role will be pivotal in supporting the Head of Business Operations to ensure these offer the business unit measurable value and impact against its strategic aims, while exploring marketing for new partnerships to enhance Football Learning in England.

The role will have a key relationship with the Commercial Senior Lead within business operations, to support the foundation of the partnership, once the commercial agreement has been reached.

What will you be doing?

  • Supporting conversations between other departments/roles in FAL when there are requirements for SMEs (subject matter experts) to work alongside our partners (for example, Coach Developers / Quality Assurance).
  • Understand the strategic output of our partners, to be able to identify opportunities in which our services can support the development of our partners' aims and objectives to leverage more opportunities within existing partners.
  • Support the development and roll out of an FA Learning accreditation pathway for all partners to have a scalable model to expand, maintain control of our brand and quality assurance.
  • Be the initial contact for other organisations wanting to work with FA Learning, to understand if their aims and objectives coincide with our strategic aims.
  • Support the Head of Business Operations and/or Senior Lead – Commercial in strategic meetings with potential new partners.
  • Support the Head of Business Operations with presentations and/or pitches to potential partners.
  • Promote FA Learnings' continued strategic aims and success stories as a brand ambassador for the business while interacting with current or potential new partners.
  • Executes additional tasks as required to meet the FA's changing priorities.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure that the highest standards of health, safety, and well-being can be maintained.
  • As part of the FA's commitment to ensuring a safe environment for everyone in football, every employee will be required to complete a DBS check. The level of the check required will be based on the activity of the specific job role and in line with legislation and government guidance.

What are we looking for?

Essential for the role:

  • Experience in relationship management through B2B relationships or senior stakeholder engagement.
  • Basic understanding of commercial management of partnerships (however, this is mainly to support the Head of Business Operations rather than own this part).
