We're looking for an experienced and forward-thinking IT Infrastructure Delivery Manager / Project Manager to take ownership of a wide range of technology and infrastructure projects that keep our organisation connected, secure, and performing at its best.

In this role, you will plan, lead, and deliver multiple IT infrastructure projects from initiation to completion. These will include areas such as Active Directory and Microsoft 365 management, networking (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi), server and storage upgrades, and security and compliance improvements. You will also support the rollout of physical infrastructure, including cabling, Wi-Fi access points, and AV systems across complex venues such as stadiums and training facilities.

Working closely with solution architects and technical engineers, you'll ensure design integrity, operational readiness, and the successful delivery of high-impact projects that underpin our technology landscape.

This is an opportunity to combine hands-on technical understanding with strong project leadership in one of the most inspiring environments in sport.

What you'll be doing:

Project Delivery

  • Lead multiple IT infrastructure projects, covering hardware, software, and physical network deployments, from initiation through to completion.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, scope, and quality to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Maintain detailed project plans, RAID logs, and dashboards to track progress.
  • Oversee internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Ensure all changes comply with IT governance, change management, and security standards.

Governance and Continuous Improvement

  • Apply project management best practice (PRINCE2, PMI, or Agile hybrid).
  • Ensure documentation, testing, and handovers are completed to a high standard.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and standardisation.
  • Contribute to IT strategy, planning, and performance reporting.

Stakeholder and Team Management

  • Build strong relationships with IT colleagues, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
  • Work with senior leaders to define priorities, requirements, and success measures.
  • Provide clear, regular updates on progress, risks, and mitigations.
  • Lead steering groups, project meetings, and lessons-learned sessions.

What you'll bring:

Essential

  • Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects in a medium to large organisation using Microsoft technologies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong communication and influencing abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and perform under pressure.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams without direct line management responsibilities.
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset with a genuine appetite for learning.

Desirable

  • Project management certification (PRINCE2, PMI, Scrum Alliance, or equivalent).
  • Experience working in an elite sports or major events environment.
  • Knowledge or experience of football at any level.
  • Familiarity with Smartsheet, Microsoft Teams, Miro, JIRA, ServiceNow, and Confluence.
