Are you passionate about football and digital content? Do you love turning data into insights that drive impact?

The Football Association is looking for a Content Performance & Insights Manager to analyse and report on the performance of our digital content for England's national teams, the Emirates FA Cup, and the Adobe Women's FA Cup.

In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring our content reaches, engages, and resonates with fans while supporting business and commercial objectives. You'll work closely with Content Managers, the Strategy, Data & Insights team, and the Head of Content to provide actionable insights that shape our content strategy.

Please note this is a fixed-term until 31st December 2026.

What you'll do:

  • Analyse digital content performance across web, app, and social platforms, assessing results against organisational and content team objectives.
  • Produce regular content and channel reports for key moments (England camps/tournaments, FA Cup rounds, commercial campaigns) as well as weekly, monthly, and annual summaries.
  • Partner with Content Managers to contextualise performance data, ensuring insights are actionable and aligned with wider content strategy.
  • Drive awareness and understanding of the content team's strategy and outputs across the business.
  • Work with the operations team to implement tools and processes that improve efficiency and insight generation.
  • Collaborate with The FA's Strategy, Data & Insights team to align analysis and reporting with broader business objectives.
  • Support internal communications around content performance and contribute to key business projects.

What we're looking for:

  • Deep understanding of digital content performance measurement across owned (web/app) and operated (social) platforms.
  • Knowledge of key digital metrics: reach, engagement, conversion, and monetisation.
  • Experience using content analysis tools (e.g., Blinkfire, Hootsuite, Emplifi) and Google Analytics.
  • Strong Excel skills and high numeracy.
  • Experience working in a digital content team/function.

Desirable skills and experience:

  • Understanding of the sports media landscape and industry best practice.
  • Experience working within sports or entertainment sectors.
  • Ability to create reports, presentations, and insights for a wide range of stakeholders.

Why work with us?

  • Be part of an iconic organisation at the heart of English football.
  • Work on high-profile content that reaches millions of fans.
  • Collaborate across teams and gain insight into the commercial and editorial strategy of The FA.
  • Develop your career in digital content analysis within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
