THE OPPORTUNITY

Based in our traditional home in South Melbourne, the Recruiting Officer will play a key role in our AFL Player Recruitment & List Management Team to:

  • Assist in the identification of talent across the talent pathways
  • Maximize the value of each draft selection utilising live viewings, vision, information gathering and data analysis
  • Evaluate and drive innovation through our talent assessment processes

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Extensive experience in list management and talent identification with a strong understanding of the AFL Talent Pathway and recruitment process
  • Tertiary qualification in data analytics and/or performance analysis desirable
  • Advanced data analysis skills and extensive experience coding vision using Sportscode
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and demonstrated ability to work well within a team
  • Strong work ethic and personal drive to succeed, continuously grow and improve
  • Demonstrated ability to work well within a team environment
  • Working with Children Check and ongoing participation in any Safeguarding Children education requirements as directed by the Club

Due to the nature of the industry, the ideal candidate must be flexible in their availability as extended hours and weekend work will be required for this role.
