South London Girls Football Academy is recruiting coaches across its three technical development centres for girls aged 5–16 in Bromley, Lewisham and Southwark.
The Role
You can apply for one centre or several: Bromley (Wednesdays 6–7pm), Lewisham (Fridays 6–8pm) and Southwark (Saturdays 11:30am–1:30pm). Groups are focused, with around 8–16 players, and session plans, frameworks and the curriculum are provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, high-quality sessions using the Academy’s session frameworks and curriculum
- Support each player’s technical, tactical, physical, psychological and social development
- Create safe, positive and inclusive environments
- Complete short player development notes
- Work with fellow coaches and Academy staff
- Arrive 20 minutes early to set up and pack away afterwards (included in the session pay)
About You
- UEFA C Licence (UEFA B desirable)
- At least two years’ experience coaching youth football
- An enhanced DBS certificate, FA Safeguarding Children and FA Emergency First Aid
- Experience in a professional club pathway, coaching girls or delivering individual player development is desirable
Key Details
- Locations: Bromley High School (BR1 2TW), St Dunstan’s Jubilee Grounds (SE6 3BB) and Burgess Park Sports Centre (SE5 0JD)
- Contract: Employed (PAYE), immediate start through to July 2027, with potential to renew
- Pay: £30 per hour (UEFA B) or £25 per hour (UEFA C), with holiday pay during closure weeks
