An exciting opportunity has arisen at Somerset County Cricket Club, to join our Sport Science and Medicine team. We are looking to recruit a Women’s Senior Physiotherapist.
You will be responsible for delivering a first-class physiotherapy and rehabilitation support service to our Senior Women’s team. You’ll be required to manage the physiotherapy case load and create strong relationships with players and coaching staff to optimise performance both during and outside of the season. You will be influential in driving the Women’s Senior provision forwards in collaboration with the wider Sports Science and Medicine team, whilst being committed to your ongoing professional development.
Amongst other essential criteria, you'll need to have a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy degree and be a member of the HCPC and CSP. You will have extensive experience within the musculoskeletal and/or sport setting delivering physiotherapy and rehabilitation services and appropriate knowledge of strength and conditioning principles.
To thrive in this role, you'll be approachable, reflective and empathetic with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively. You are organised, diligent and motivated. You can work under pressure and have strong decision-making capabilities.
Given the nature of the role, any appointment is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check. If no ECB DBS is already in place, this check will be carried out by the Club.
Please note that working hours will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays, along with domestic and potential international travel.
