As National Academy - Women, you'll lead the future of women’s rugby by shaping the Women’s National Academy Programme and accelerating the development of Scotland’s next generation of elite talent

What you will be doing:

  • Lead and deliver the Women’s National Academy Programme, creating a high‑performance environment for 18–23-year-old players.
  • Oversee talent identification, selection, and individual development planning to support progression through the national pathway.
  • Take on a senior coaching role within national age‑grade teams to strengthen the elite talent pipeline.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and pathway stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective player transitions.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience coaching at national age‑grade or professional level and leading player development programmes within a high‑performance environment.
  • Strong programme leadership skills, including planning, organisation, budget management, and coordination of multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities across clubs, universities, and performance partners.
  • Strong problem‑solving, critical thinking, and judgement, with a clear commitment to athlete welfare and safeguarding.
