Scottish Rugby is looking for a hands-on Internal Communications Lead to keep its people informed, engaged and connected.
The Role
You will work with every department across Scottish Rugby, helping to bring the organisation’s strategy to life and sharing the stories its people need to hear. This is a true partnership role: a trusted adviser to senior leaders, a champion for colleagues and a storyteller who can make the strategy feel real to everyone.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the internal communications strategy, developing and delivering the plan with the People and Engagement team
- Create engaging written and video content and plan regular events that bring a hybrid workforce together
- Own the internal channels, including the content calendar, the intranet and the Internal Comms inbox
- Advise leaders on the best ways to share updates with their teams
- Support the Leadership Team and Boards to communicate regularly with all employees
About You
- Demonstrable experience developing internal communications strategies that drive engagement
- Up-to-date knowledge of trends and best practice in colleague communication
- A natural storyteller who can craft content for different channels and audiences, with practical digital communications knowledge
- Confident with senior colleagues, with strong stakeholder management, emotional intelligence and discretion
- Proven planning and project management skills, and calm under pressure

- Contract: Permanent, full time
- Salary: £37,000 – £45,000
