Scottish Rugby is the governing body for rugby union in Scotland. Based at BT Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh, we administer Scotland's international rugby teams, and Scotland's two professional clubs, Edinburgh Rugby and Glasgow Warriors.
This is a rare opportunity to shape something from the ground up.
As our first-ever Head of Philanthropy, you’ll play a pivotal role in building a sustainable, ambitious fundraising programme that will help grow rugby in communities across Scotland – from grassroots to life‑changing social impact.
You’ll bring people together around a compelling cause, inspire investment in the future of the game through a newly established Scottish Rugby Foundation, and help ensure rugby’s positive impact reaches far beyond the pitch.
What the role is about
What we’re looking for
This is more than a fundraising role. It’s a chance to help shape the future of rugby in Scotland, strengthen communities, and leave a lasting legacy through the power of philanthropy.
If you’re excited by building something new and want your work to make a genuine difference, we’d love to hear from you. Follow through to complete the application form. Included in this, we’d like you to share the skills and experience you would bring to this role and why you’d love to work at Scottish Rugby.
Scottish Rugby is an equal opportunities employer and we encourage applications from all qualified candidates.
