Are you passionate about creating safe and secure environments for world-class events? Scottish Rugby is looking for a dedicated Assistant Event Safety Officer to help ensure the safety and compliance of our stadium and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the safe and compliant delivery of events at Scottish Gas Murrayfield and other venues, in line with the Guide to Safety at Sports Grounds and relevant legislation.
- Act as the nominated safety representative or deputy on event days, making key safety decisions and ensuring operational readiness.
- Assist with the development and implementation of safety policies, procedures, and maintenance plans for stadium safety systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation and deliver briefings and training to promote safety awareness and compliance.
What We’re Looking For:
- A strong understanding of event safety legislation and best practices.
- Experience in stadium or large venue operations is desirable.
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and confidently under pressure.
