Job Purpose
This role will work across both the Scottish Cycling National Programme and club environments to positively influence the number and quality of riders progressing through the Scottish Cycling pathway. A key focus of the role will be enhancing the quality of local rider development environments by working closely with clubs and coaches to create opportunities that identify, nurture and develop riders with the motivation and potential to progress.
You will play a pivotal role within the team, working closely with the Pathway Lead, National Coaches and club coaches to design, develop and support the implementation of discipline-specific youth development environments that contribute to Olympic and Paralympic success. The successful candidate will act as a key link between riders, parents, coaches, clubs and race teams, helping to build a connected and supportive development system that enables riders to thrive and achieve their potential.
