The Events Executive (Public, Matchdays) is a year-round operational role supporting the planning, administration and on-site delivery of Saracens matchdays, athletics events and other public events hosted at StoneX Stadium.
The role provides consistent operational support across the stadium events calendar, bringing together responsibilities previously delivered across multiple functions. The Events Executive supports the planning and operational delivery of Saracens matchdays and public events and works closely with the Sports Delivery & Matchday Events Executive to support the delivery of athletics competitions, school sports days and rugby participation events.
The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to operate confidently in live event environments.
Key Responsibilities
Matchday Operations
Support the operational delivery of Saracens matchdays and public events including:
• operational planning and scheduling
• supplier coordination
• matchday logistics and event documentation
Act as a key operational contact before, during and after events.
Assist with matchday readiness including:
• scheduling and event briefings
• operational documentation
• on-site coordination
Support stewarding, safety, medical and security planning in collaboration with relevant leads.
Provide on-site operational support during matchdays and public events.
Athletics Event Administration
Support the planning and coordination of athletics events hosted at the stadium including:
• athletics competitions
• school sports days
• athletics club events
• external sporting events
Administer and support the delivery of athletics meetings, sports days and other sports events hosted at StoneX Stadium.
Responsibilities include:
• managing bookings and schedules
• coordinating with schools, athletics clubs and organisers
• maintaining stakeholder communications related to athletics usage
• scheduling and calendar management
Act as an on-site representative for athletics and sports events where required.
Event Logistics
Support event logistics including:
• supplier and contractor coordination
• equipment logistics
• venue setup and changeovers
Provide operational support during live events and assist with incident resolution on event days, escalating where appropriate.
Work closely with the Sports Delivery & Matchday Events Executive to support the delivery of athletics events, school sports days and rugby participation events.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Essential
• Experience supporting live events, matchdays or venue operations
• Strong organisational and administrative capability
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to operate confidently in live event environments
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and event days
