Rugby World Cup Australia is seeking a Workforce Systems Manager to join our Sydney CBD office.

The Workforce Systems Manager will hold end‑to‑end ownership of the Workforce Management Module within the Tournament Management System (TMS), playing a critical role in enabling workforce planning and live tournament operations across multiple venues and cities. Reporting to the Senior Volunteer Manager, this role is the local system lead, responsible for configuration, readiness, adoption and live support of a complex workforce system.

Working closely with internal workforce teams, functional areas and the system provider, the Workforce Systems Manager will ensure the platform supports recruitment, scheduling and tournament‑time delivery at scale. As the tournament approaches, this role will transition into a tournament‑time position within the Main Operations Centre, providing critical live systems support. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the delivery of a world‑class global sporting event.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Act as the single point of ownership for the Workforce Management Module within the Tournament Management System.

· Configure and manage system workflows supporting the end‑to‑end workforce lifecycle, from recruitment through to tournament‑time operations.

· Ensure system readiness against fixed program milestones, managing testing, issue resolution and controlled releases.

· Deliver system training, guidance and practical support to workforce teams and functional areas to drive effective adoption.

· Maintain system documentation, user guides and operational processes.

· Provide live system support during tournament operations, working closely with the system provider and internal stakeholders to resolve issues in real time.

Qualifications & Experience

· Experience working with workforce, recruitment, event or tournament management systems in complex operating environments.

· Strong stakeholder and vendor management capability, with confidence working across technical and non‑technical teams.

· Proven ability to translate system functionality into practical, user‑friendly solutions.

· Ability to operate calmly and effectively within fast‑paced or live operational environments.

· Experience in large‑scale events, workforce programs or enterprise HR/recruitment platforms will be highly regarded.

Why You'll Love It Here

· Competitive salary: We know world-class talent deserves to be rewarded.

· Hybrid game plan: Work from home on Mondays and Fridays, with a 3-day in-office schedule (Tues-Thu), moving to full-time in-office in 2027 as the tournament approaches.

· Unbeatable location: A modern space across from Sydney's Hyde Park, just a 5-minute walk from Town Hall, surrounded by public transport, great cafes, restaurants, and shops.

· Wellbeing first: Weekly fresh fruit, lunch and learn with a focus on keeping our team feeling their best on and off the field.

· Locker-room ready: Showers, fresh towels, and Dyson hair tools so you can reset and refresh any time.
