Rochdale AFC is looking for a Casual Medical Therapist to provide medical and therapy support for academy players at training sessions, fixtures and tournaments.
The Role
You will work in line with EFL Youth Development Rules, FA guidelines and club policies, under the direction of the Head of Academy Sports Science & Medicine.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide pitch-side medical cover for academy training, fixtures and tournaments
- Assess, treat and manage injuries and deliver first aid and emergency care
- Support injury prevention, rehabilitation and recovery programmes
- Keep accurate treatment notes and injury records
- Keep medical equipment and first aid supplies match-ready
- Update coaching staff on player availability and return-to-play recommendations
About You
- A qualified medical or sports therapy professional able to deliver pitch-side care
- Knowledge of EFL Youth Development Rules and FA medical standards
