Property and Contracts Manager – Racing Homes
Based: Head office, Newmarket.
Hours: 35 per week
Contract Type: 12 Month Fixed Term – Possibility of extension.
Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 DoE
At Racing Welfare, we provide housing and wellbeing support to people working in or retired from the British horseracing and breeding industry. Racing Homes is part of the Racing Welfare group of charities and aims to follow the very best practice in social housing, providing high-quality affordable accommodation.
We have an exciting role which is responsible for overseeing the implementation and delivery of contracts that ensure our homes are safe and well-maintained across our Racing Homes portfolio. You’ll take ownership of everything from day-to-day repairs and void management to capital works and building safety compliance. You'll also manage contractor relationships and deliver our asset management strategy.

The successful candidate will be in commutable distance of Newmarket but will be expected to travel across the country from time to time, particularly to West Berkshire, Yorkshire, and Epsom for which you will need to use your own car.
