Salary: This is a voluntary role, however Paddle UK will cover reasonable travel and other expenses
Meetings: There are three scheduled meetings per year (with additional meetings if needed). These are mostly held remotely on Google Meet, and there is usually one meeting annually, held at the National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham or alternative venues as appropriate.
Responsible To: Board of Paddle UK
Term: Four years, with a maximum of two terms
First meeting: Wednesday 2 December 2026, in person at the Paddle UK offices at Holme Pierrepoint.

As an organisation we want to promote a culture of respect and to champion inclusion and anti-discrimination across paddle sports. Paddle UK has a group of volunteer external advisors, who help us to make good decisions for our strategic and operational initiatives. These advisors form our Inclusion Advisory Group (known as the IAG).
The IAG was established to support Paddle UK to become a more inclusive and diverse organisation, both internally in terms of our workforce and externally in terms of our partnerships, providers, clubs, paddlers, coaches and athletes. The group helps us to achieve this by providing advice at strategic and/or operational level. Informed by their professional or personal experience they give us guidance, support and insights. This helps to inform us at policy, decision making and practice levels.
We are currently seeking new IAG members, either from a professional EDI background, or from a paddle sport/other sporting/outdoor activity background, with an interest in or experience of EDI.
