Notts Gymnastics Academy (NGA) is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and engaging Preschool Gymnastics Coach to join its thriving preschool programme.
The Role
You will lead and support fun, engaging sessions for children aged 1–5, building strong relationships with families and helping children develop confidence, independence and a lifelong love of movement. NGA will support the successful candidate with ongoing training and gymnastics qualifications where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver fun, engaging and age-appropriate preschool gymnastics sessions
- Confidently lead sessions in front of parents and carers
- Create a safe, inclusive and welcoming atmosphere for all families
- Support children’s physical, social and emotional development through movement
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare
- Support Academy events, taster sessions, holiday activities and promotional opportunities
About You
- Experience working with children aged 1–5
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- British Gymnastics Level 1 qualification or above, or willingness to gain one
- A valid DBS check and safeguarding certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Available daytime hours on Monday, Thursday and Friday, with occasional Saturday mornings preferred
- Available during school holidays (excluding Christmas, Easter and summer closures)
- Desirable: a preschool gymnastics or early years, education or childcare qualification
Key Details
- Location: Nottingham
- Contract: Permanent, part time (approximately 10–15 hours per week, mainly weekday daytimes)
- Pay: £12.71 per hour
