To support our ambitious ‘Vision For Sport’ which aims to see 12,500 involved in NTU Sport activity, we are opening a brand new Strength & Conditioning centre on our city campus.

The facility, which will initially be open until the end of the university’s academic year will offer students increased opportunity to train within a high performance setting and allow those outside of the performance squads, for the first time to be able to use one of these facilities on the NTU campus.

These 3 new positions, working on a shift pattern across the working week will support the growth of this facility, providing services both to new training groups but also to a range of student members looking to improve their own personal performances.

As a result it is expected that the successful candidates will be comfortable working on both a group and individual basis.

The long-term plans for the facility, which is currently under development and planned to open on Monday 5th January will be continued assessed as to its value to the student experience across Term Two and Three and if successful, will become a permanent facility for the 26/27 academic year.

Therefore, there is the potential for the initial contract length to be extended.

As part of the rota pattern, it is expected that the post holders will also work at the Clifton Sports Hub, supporting both S and C delivery and working as part of the facilities operations team in delivering high quality student sport programmes.

To ensure the diverse needs of our team are met we actively encourage secondments and offer flexible part-time working patterns - we're focused on finding the right person for the role.
