Northumberland FA is looking for a Referee Development Officer to help create a positive, inclusive and rewarding refereeing experience across the county.
The Role
Referees are at the heart of the game. Working with colleagues, clubs, leagues and the referee community, you will support everyone from those taking their first steps with the whistle to experienced officials pursuing their ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspire more people from a wide range of backgrounds to take up refereeing
- Build strong relationships that help referees feel valued and supported
- Coordinate opportunities for learning, mentoring and progression
- Help retain referees by listening to their experiences and responding to their needs
- Champion safeguarding, inclusion and respect throughout your work
