Northampton Town Football Club is looking for Casual Sports Therapists and Physiotherapists to provide therapy and first aid services to its Academy.
The Role
Reporting to the Lead Academy Physiotherapists on injuries, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation, you will support U9–U16 players during evening training and at weekends. The role is mainly weekday evenings (4:30–9pm) and weekends, and needs commitment and flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide therapy services at evening training and weekends for U9–U16 Academy players
- Support medical screenings and physical testing
- Assess and diagnose injuries sustained by Academy players
- Deliver therapeutic interventions and injury prevention strategies
- Complete medical notes on Kitman Labs within required timeframes
- Attend home and away games and provide immediate care for injuries
About You
- Qualified to the minimum therapist requirement set out in EFL regulations
- FA ITMMiF (or equivalent), or willing to complete it before starting
- An FA Safeguarding qualification, or willing to obtain one
- Excellent communication skills with players, parents and coaches
- Committed to CPD and to the club’s Code of Conduct
