New Zealand Rugby (NZR) is the governing body of rugby union in New Zealand.
We’re looking for a dynamic Head of Commercial Revenue to lead the growth and sustainability of New Zealand Rugby's commercial programme. In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for driving the growth and sustainability of NZR’s commercial programme through sponsorship, match day and new business initiatives.
The role is responsible for securing new offshore and domestic sponsorships, and leading sponsorship renewals, across national teams, competitions, community, and grassroots assets.
In addition to sponsorship, the position is also responsible for leading the teams responsible for optimising revenue from the Match Day Ticketing and Hospitality, Off-Shore Matches, Venue Signage, Fan Travel, All Blacks Clinics and other commercial assets. By creating greater commercial value and innovative partnership opportunities, the role contributes directly to the long-term growth of NZ Rugby.
Sponsorship and Match Day makes up 70% of NZR’s revenue profile and with an incredibly exciting 24 months ahead with all of our Teams in Black kit assets scheduled for renewal and two British & Irish Lions tours to NZ - it is an incredible exciting period for two industry leaders to join the organisation to lead the NZR commercial revenue program from Auckland.
