Mold Golf Club, an award-winning members’ club at Pantymwyn near Mold in Flintshire, is looking for a Golf Club Manager to lead the day-to-day running of the club.
The Role
As the club’s senior operational manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day leadership and administration, delivering a great experience for members, guests, visitors and societies. Working closely with the Management Committee, staff, department leads, contractors and service partners, you will turn the club’s Business Plan and priorities into clear operational plans and measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the course, clubhouse, golf operations, hospitality and administration
- Build strong relationships with members and act as a visible ambassador for the club
- Prepare budgets, forecasts and reports, and maintain financial controls
- Lead, develop and coordinate employees, contractors, franchise partners and department leads
- Support the Management Committee with reporting and delivery of the club’s strategy
- Grow membership, visitor and society golf, hospitality, events, sponsorship and other income
- Oversee governance, legal compliance, risk, health and safety, and administrative and digital systems
- Coordinate the club diary, competitions, events and improvement projects
About You
- An experienced manager from a golf, private members’ club, hospitality, leisure, sport or similar service-led organisation
- A confident leader with experience of managing multidisciplinary teams
- A strong communicator with good financial and commercial awareness
- Organised and practical, with project management skills
- Digitally competent with finance, membership and booking systems
- Professional, resilient, inclusive and member-focused
- Desirable: private members’ golf club management experience; a management, business, hospitality or club management qualification; membership of a professional body such as the Golf Club Managers’ Association or Club Management Association of Europe; and experience with ClubV1, BRS or similar systems, marketing, membership development or events

- Hours: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays when required
