Midlands Football Development Centre is looking for a passionate and professional Lead Football Coach to deliver high-standard training sessions for boys and girls aged U7–U16.
The Role
You will lead sessions at the centre’s development centres, support player growth and contribute to a positive coaching culture focused on long-term player progression and enjoyment of the game.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and lead football coaching sessions for players aged U7–U16
- Create a positive, fun and challenging environment focused on technique, game understanding and player development
- Promote high standards of behaviour, participation and enjoyment
- Give constructive feedback to players and engage effectively with parents
- Help develop session plans, themes and coaching content
- Maintain a safe coaching environment and follow safeguarding policies
About You
- At least one year’s football coaching experience
- FA Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Football (UEFA C/Level 2 preferred)
- A DBS check
- Enthusiastic about football and working with young people, with good communication and organisation
- Experience in youth development or academy environments is desirable
