We are recruiting a Gym Coach to join our on-site Performance Centre. This role will support the safe and effective operation of The Performance Centre Gym, while delivering a first class human performance service that enables each Team member to optimise their own health and wellbeing.
Key Accountabilities (Duties):
• Support the daily operations of the gym.
• Develop physical conditioning and well-being of the company.
• Help grow engagement of employee interaction with facility initiatives.
• Support employee education on nutrition and physical activity.
• Develop specialised class content for employees to promote well-being.
• Drive engagement across the company with new initiatives.
• Ensure the facility is kept to the highest standard, ensuring an outstanding customer experience.
• Engaging employees to increase physical activity and well-being levels.
• Managing a wide spectrum of clients with regards to their well-being requirements on an individual basis, delivering results.
• Supporting in the creation of dynamic and inviting class schedules.
• Managing customer feedback and complaints.
• Ensuring the maintenance of all facility equipment is kept to the highest standard.
Essential Skills & Experience:
• Level 3 Personal Training Qualification.
• Coaching experience, including delivery of physical training programs.
• Class qualifications & experience: Spin, Circuits, Kettlebells, Pilates.
• Experience designing individual training programs and taking group classes.
• Proficient IT skills and experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
• Sports Science, Leisure management degree or similar qualification.
• Accreditation by an acknowledged professional body (UKSCA, CIMSPA).
• Class qualifications & experience: Yoga, Reformer Pilates, Boxing, Hyrox.
• Experience with clients with health conditions and rehabilitation requirements.
