We are looking for an enthusiastic Composite Fitter to join the Composite Fitting Shop on our early/late shift.

This is a fixed term contract opportunity to start in January 2026 and ending May 2026. Early shift starts 06:00 finishing at 14:30 and late shift starts 14:00 and finishes 22:30. You will be expected to rotate between these patterns working Monday to Friday.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a core department, in assembling high quality carbon components for our F1 racing car and our customer supply, in the most efficient, cost-effective manner.

Key Accountabilities (Duties):

  • Trimming, fitting and bonding carbon fibre components utilising engineering drawings and build instructions.
  • Assembling moulds, jigs and fixtures.
  • Ability to deal with technical challenges and solve problems as they arise.
  • Responsible for maintaining the highest quality standards on all manufactured composites components to defined standards.
  • Proactively contributing to the improvement of quality and efficiency.
  • Working to challenging and demanding lead times.
  • Being aware of Health and Safety requirements.
  • Assisting other areas of the department as required.
  • Adhering to surface preparation and bonding procedures.

Candidate Profile:

  • Ability to demonstrate significant previous experience of fitting/trimming a broad range of composite materials in Motorsport/F1.
  • A methodical and thorough approach to the work with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, always remaining respectful.
  • A self-motivator and ability to motivate others.
  • Work as part of a team in an ever-demanding environment.
  • Enthusiastic and able to develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues.
  • Work well under pressure to meet demanding deadlines.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • A can-do attitude whilst remaining flexible.
