We’re looking for an experienced composite design engineer to take ownership of major composite projects that define race-day performance. This is your chance to work at the cutting edge of motorsport, collaborating with Aerodynamicists, Structural Engineers, and manufacturing teams to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions that make a real difference on the track.

Key responsibilities/Duties:

  • Own the design and development of composite components from concept to track.
  • Deliver optimised, high-performance solutions under strict cost and time constraints.
  • Collaborate across engineering disciplines to ensure fully integrated designs.
  • Lead and mentor team members while driving innovation in composite technology.
  • Analyse FEA results and apply hand calculations to produce reliable designs.

Candidate Profile:

  • Extensive experience in F1 composite design and leading significant car projects.
  • Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing techniques, and Catia V5/3DX.
  • Ability to interpret FEA results and perform hand calculations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A clear understanding of racing car design and performance trade-offs.

Whilst the environment in which you will work will be pressured and will demand a high level of attention to detail, you will be fully supported by your team to give you opportunity to be creative and develop solutions to achieve the very best.
