ABOUT THE ROLE
We're seeking a dynamic and highly motivated AFL Assistant Coach to join our AFL Men’s Program for the 2026 Season. This is a maximum term contract, full-time position, commencing in November of 2025.
As an Assistant Coach, this role is responsible for supporting the Senior Coach in designing and delivering high-impact training programs focused on enhancing individual player development, strengthening team cohesion, and executing game strategies that drive on-field success.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
You are someone who possesses strong coaching fundamentals, with exceptional communication and leadership skills, and has a deep understanding of player development, game plan strategy and team culture. You bring previous coaching experience at the AFL, VFL, or equivalent elite level, along with the ability to translate strategy into action through high-quality training, feedback, and match-day leadership.
You excel at building strong relationships and thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Your interpersonal skills enable you to engage effectively with players, staff, and stakeholders, fostering trust and alignment across the football program.
Above all, you embody professionalism, resilience, and a team-first mindset, aligning with the club’s values and contributing positively to its high-performance culture.
You currently hold an active AFL Silver Coaching Accreditation (previously known as Level 2).
