Within our Fan Intelligence and Lifecycle Marketing team, we support the Club's commercial and fan experience teams with accessible reporting, thoughtful analysis and practical data products. We work across areas including ticketing, memberships, retail, digital engagement, CRM, product and marketing, helping colleagues use insight to make informed decisions and build better experiences for our Fans.

The Role

As Data and Insights Analyst, you will deliver analysis that answers meaningful business questions and helps teams understand what is happening, why it matters and where opportunities may exist. Your work will turn complex information into clear findings, recommendations and actions across Manchester City's commercial and fan experience activity.

You will build, maintain and improve Power BI reports, dashboards and self-service analytics products, while helping shape the datasets, data models, reporting logic and DAX measures that sit behind them. Working with data from Databricks and other sources, you will move comfortably between data preparation, analytical exploration, report development, testing and data quality checks.

Working closely with stakeholders, you will understand requirements, bring clarity to business questions and communicate insight in a practical and accessible way. You will also contribute to better team standards through documentation, reusable code, and thoughtful report design, helping build trust in the data used across the Club.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience working in an analytical, business intelligence or data-focused role.
  • Ability to turn data into clear findings, recommendations and practical actions.
  • Experience using Python, SQL, R or another relevant language to analyse, prepare or transform data.
  • Experience building clear, useful reports or dashboards in Power BI.
  • Ability to gather requirements, understand business questions and explain insights clearly to stakeholders.
  • A good understanding of data modelling, reporting logic and working with large datasets.

Why Choose Us

Working at Manchester City means being supported to do your best, with the flexibility and encouragement to look after your wellbeing. We are committed to helping our people learn, grow and thrive in a culture built on collaboration, openness and hard work.

As part of our team, you will receive 26 days’ annual leave plus a day off for your birthday, private healthcare and dental cover, and an annual discretionary bonus. You will also have access to a Health Cash Plan, Employee Assistance Programme with 24/7 GP support, and a company pension and life assurance.

Manchester-based employees also benefit from free on-site parking, complimentary breakfast and lunch, and access to a range of sports and leisure clubs.

You can enjoy a range of additional benefits, including cycle to work, Give As You Earn, discounted match tickets, savings in the City Store, a free City+ subscription, stadium tour discounts, and wider retail and lifestyle offers.
