Who We Are

Manchester City is a football club rooted in East Manchester, with a story that began in 1880 and continues to grow today. Built on resilience, belief and togetherness, success on the pitch is driven by the moments and memories shared with millions of Fans around the world. City is known for its bravery, its determination to the very end and its strong connection to where we come from. With Mancunian roots and a global outlook, we are shaped by our Fans and driven by a long-term vision, from developing future talent to supporting the communities we call home. Together, we are creating the next chapter, the City way.

Within our Academy, the Junior Academy and Local Recruitment team supports young players through a structured pathway, working closely with coaches, families and programme staff to create a positive, well-organised and development-focused environment. We place real value on accurate information, clear communication and high standards in everything we deliver.

The Role

You will also support the preparation and distribution of Weekly Coaching Plans, matchday information, player updates and programme communications, while keeping player registers, attendance information, forms, reporting and records accurate and up to date.

Alongside this, you will act as a key point of contact for parents, coaches and programme staff, helping to keep communication professional, timely and clear. You will review coaching, fixture and Talent Identification submissions, follow up any missing information, and support player review and Talent Identification activity by organising coaching and scouting intelligence and agreed actions. You will also contribute to training, fixtures, briefings, inductions and programme meetings as needed.
