Manchester City’s content team is growing fast, and we’re looking for an Assistant Branded Content Producer to help bring creative, high-quality commercial stories to life. You’ll sit within our Commercial Media team, working on a wide range of branded content — from social-first videos and partner activations to longer-form pieces and live productions. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves collaboration, enjoys working across different stages of production, and wants to grow their craft in a supportive, high-energy environment.

Your Impact

  • Work closely with Commercial Media Producers and Managers to deliver industry-leading content for partners and brands.
  • Support the production of content across the full workflow — including filming, editing (offline and online), and social-specific formats.
  • Contribute creatively to ideas and treatments alongside the Creative Director and wider team.
  • Help deliver projects in a fast-paced environment, supporting deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Work with freelance crews where required, helping source and coordinate talent for shoots.
  • Ensure content meets partner objectives while reflecting the tone, values and pace of football.

What we are looking for

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience producing or supporting commercially focused video content, particularly vertical-first content.
  • Strong understanding of social platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and what performs well on each.
  • A clear strength in at least one area of production (e.g. shooting, editing or post-production), with curiosity to develop others.
  • Organised and comfortable juggling multiple projects at once.
  • A collaborative, enthusiastic approach and confidence working as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including occasional evenings or weekends, in line with football production schedules.
  • Beneficial; Previous experience working in football or sports media.
