The Role

As Academy Driver and Logistics Assistant, you will help coordinate the Academy's day-to-day transport service, ensuring players, staff, guests and families can travel safely, comfortably and on time. Your work will support scholar and Day Release runs, staff transport and the wider logistics of an Academy operating at a high standard.

Alongside driving, you will maintain schedules, records, reports and documentation, keeping information accurate and processes easy to follow. You will also help monitor departmental vehicles, report faults, coordinate maintenance and ensure vehicle records remain current. There will be opportunities to improve transport processes and administrative systems as the needs of the Academy evolve.

You will build positive working relationships with players, families, staff, agents and representatives, sharing relevant information appropriately where player behaviour, welfare or development is concerned. You will also support tours, tournaments and Academy events, including meeting and greeting trialists and prospective signings and helping provide a professional first impression. The role involves safeguarding responsibilities and flexibility to work variable and unsociable hours when operationally required.

What You’ll Bring

  • A clean UK driving licence, with the confidence and experience to provide safe, professional transport for a range of passengers.
  • Experience working in an administrative environment, with the ability to manage schedules, records, reports and documentation accurately.
  • Competence with Microsoft Office and everyday computer-based administrative systems.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, including a professional approach to meeting and greeting players, families, guests and colleagues.
  • A flexible and confidential approach, with the ability to respond calmly to changing operational needs and work variable or unsociable hours frequently when required.
