Leisure United is looking for an inspiring and experienced Dual Site General Manager to lead two brand-new community sports hubs in Wythenshawe: Wythenshawe Sports Ground and Wythenshawe Park.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, you will initially be based at Wythenshawe Sports Ground before expanding your remit to mobilise Wythenshawe Park ahead of its scheduled opening in autumn 2027, taking full responsibility for operations and service delivery across both sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary team with an inclusive, accountable and high-performing culture
- Oversee safe, welcoming and high-quality facilities with strong standards of customer service and compliance
- Manage budgets, P&L, income forecasting and commercial performance
- Shape inclusive programmes across football, multi-sport, physical activity, health and wellbeing
- Build partnerships with community, education, health, sport, funding and public-sector organisations
- Take lead responsibility for health and safety, including audits, risk assessments and emergency response
- Champion access for under-represented groups, including women and girls
About You
- At least five years’ management-level experience in leisure, hospitality or another service-led environment
- Proven multi-site management experience with strong operational and financial results
- Experience leading large, diverse teams and delivering excellent customer experience in a high-volume setting
- Experience of P&L management, budgeting and forecasting
- Flexibility to travel between sites and work evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Desirable: a degree or management qualification (such as ILM or NVQ Level 5), First Aid at Work, IOSH Level 3 and experience of leisure management systems

- Salary: £42,000 – £47,000 per annum, dependent on experience
