Leinster Rugby is one of the four professional provincial club rugby union teams from the island of Ireland and the most successful Irish team domestically. They compete in the United Rugby Championship and the European Rugby Champions Cup.
Leinster Rugby would like to invite applications from suitably experienced and qualified coaches for the position of ‘Athletic Development Coach’ for the Leinster Rugby Senior Women’s team.
The Leinster Rugby Senior Women’s team and the annual Interprovincial series are a highlight of the rugby calendar.
The Leinster Rugby Women’s team won the Interprovincial Championship as recently as 2024 and finished as runners-up last year. With 20 new caps last season and a number of players featuring internationally, this is an exciting opportunity to build on this success for the 2026 season.
The Leinster Women’s Athletic Development Coach will be responsible for leading the athletic development programme for the Senior Women’s squad. Working closely with the Head Coach and Player Development and Pathway teams, the successful candidate will play a key role in the physical preparation of the team for interprovincial competition.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and delivery of the athletic development programme leading up to and including the 2026 Interprovincial Series.

Time Commitment
This part-time position will be over a three-month fixed-term period and will require flexibility for evening training sessions, weekend matches and occasional events, as well as planning and coordination duties throughout the season.
