Leigh Leopards are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Retail Supervisor to oversee the daily running of the club stores and supervise the casual retail team.
The Role
You will run the club’s retail operation day to day, making sure the stadium store and the Leigh Market unit run smoothly, sales are maximised and costs kept down. Working with the Head of Retail, you will manage stock, orders and promotions, record daily sales and reconciliations, and make sure customer service reflects the standards of a nationally recognised sports club.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily store operations, monitor stock levels and support the casual retail staff
- Manage sales, stock, inventory, customer service and till systems and processes
- Schedule casual staff to their weekly contracted hours
- Keep stock information up to date with the Head of Retail and report any issues with stock, the shop floor or systems
- Keep all items in stock and properly shelved across the stores and stockrooms
- Help order new stock so seasonal campaigns are delivered
- Complete accurate stocktakes with the support of colleagues
- Deal promptly with customer complaints and help customers with detailed product questions
About You
- Proven experience as a retail supervisor or in a similar retail role
- Confident with Microsoft Office, till systems and stock control systems; e-commerce CMS experience is a strong advantage
- Experience of sales reporting and daily reconciliations
- Strong leadership, organisation and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of Leigh Leopards, rugby league and sports retail is an advantage but not essential
- Able to work all home fixtures and events on evenings, weekends and bank holidays

- Location: Leigh Sports Village, Leigh, WN7 4JY (travel required)
- Contract: Permanent, full time (37.5 hours per week, weekends required)
- Salary: £28,000 per annum
- Start date: Immediate
- Closing date: 14 November 2026 (the club may close the vacancy early if the right candidate is found)
