Leicester Tigers are a professional rugby union club based in Leicester, England. They play in Premiership Rugby, England's top division of rugby. The club was founded in 1880 and since 1892 plays its home matches at Mattioli Woods Welford Road in the south of the city.
At Leicester Tigers Foundation, we are excited to announce that an opportunity has opened up to work as an Education Officer.
The primary focus of the role will be to support the delivery of Leicester Tigers Foundation Education programmes which includes but not limited to our Hitz Programme, King’s Trust course and potentially HMP Fosse Way delivery. Reporting directly to the Head of Education, the successful candidate will be working in a unique and exciting environment.
Responsibilities include:
• To be an integral member of the Foundation Team and work effectively with the Head of Education and other officers to deliver across our different programmes.
• To be responsible for high quality delivery of classroom and engaging sessions that are inclusive, accessible and tailored to meet the needs of individuals.
• To work closely with cohorts of young people progressing them through the King’s Trusts qualifications and Hitz Maths/English Functional skills qualifications.
• To oversee and implement behavioural strategies, ensuring that Leicester Tigers Foundation can safely accommodate a wide variety of learners, within our courses.
• To deliver the King’s Trust Employment, Teamwork and Community Skills qualification from Entry Level 3 to Level 2.
• To provide ongoing pastoral support to young people
• Maintain accurate records of learner progress, attendance and achievements.
• Carry out any other duties as reasonably requested by Senior Management.
