The Lawn Tennis Association is the national governing body of tennis in Great Britain, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
The LTA’s vision is “Tennis Opened Up” and its mission is the transform communities through tennis by making it welcoming, enjoyable and inspiring to everyone. We have a similar approach to developing and promoting padel, one of the fastest growing sports in the country.
The Head of Strategic Communications will play a leading role in managing the reputation of the LTA with the public and key stakeholders within tennis. The role will be responsible for identifying target audiences and building a communications programme to build advocacy for and engagement with the LTA and its programmes. It is expected to lead on delivering a wide range of pro-active communications campaigns to a variety of audiences.
This is a key role in the Corporate Affairs team and will sit alongside the LTA’s Head of Media and Head of Public Policy. It will work across the business with involvement and understanding of all aspects of the LTA’s work to ensure effective communications to multiple audiences.
