Kent FA is the governing body of football in Kent. Our aim is to be innovative, supportive, inclusive and representative of grassroots football in our County.
Key accountabilities
Line manage the Football Development Officer (Adult Male) and Football Development Officer (Inclusion) to ensure they meet their key objectives and KPIs, receive support throughout the season, and complete their personal development reviews.
Support the delivery of activities that ensure every affiliated football fixture is played on a 'good'-quality pitch, including the use of PitchPower.
Monitor the quantity and quality of football pitches and ground locations used for affiliated fixtures.
Ensure that the outcomes of each facility project align with the Football Foundation measurement framework and The FA's Grassroots Football Strategy.
Activate grass-pitch facilities that are not currently registered on PitchPower to help achieve the target of 471 good pitches.
Support the delivery of support days for Football Foundation applicants in relation to the Grass Pitch Improvement Programme and Small Grants Programme.
Support applicants in developing their football development plans to enable them to apply successfully for funding.
Support clubs and organisations in accessing assistance through Football Foundation programmes, including Howden's Game Changer, Lionesses HERe to Play, Home Advantage and InPost.
Develop collaborative working partnerships with local authorities, clubs, leagues, schools and other facility providers.
Lead on all matters relating to planning protection, the completion of Sport England planning consultations, and the safeguarding of playing pitches across Kent.
Work with the new unitary authorities to establish partnerships and productive working relationships and represent Kent FA at identified Place Partnership meetings.Please visit https://www.kentfa.com/news/20... for further details on the application process.
