Kent Cricket, one of only 18 professional county cricket clubs in England and Wales, is looking to recruit one or more Non-Executive Directors to its Board.
The Role
You will help the club in its ambition to become both financially sustainable and enduringly competitive on the field, with players predominantly produced in Kent. You will support and constructively challenge the executive Leadership Team, attending board meetings and key matches and events.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the Board’s strategy and governance
- Support and constructively challenge the executive Leadership Team
- Attend 6–12 board meetings a year (mostly online), plus matches and important club events
- Champion inclusivity and diversity across Kent Cricket
About You
- Board-level experience
- Experience in at least one of: elite cricket or professional sport; senior general counsel or legal; board-level commercial (ideally sport or sports science); senior audit or CFO-level
- An interest in and affinity with Kent Cricket
- Willing to take an informed view on issues outside your own expertise
