The Role in Brief:

Harlequins Women are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the team supporting our women’s programme. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build a career in professional sport, with a particular focus on team operations. Working closely with the wider team, the successful candidate will gain a strong grounding in team management while developing a broad range of practical operational skills.


The Details:

· Based at our Training Ground: Surrey Sports Park, Guildford, GU2 7AD.
· Reports to the Head of Operations & Welfare.
· A work schedule which will require regular work on evenings and weekends.
· Full-time, fixed term until June 2028.
· Salary: £26,000 per annum.


Duties and responsibilities

· Support the Head of Operations & Welfare with the general day to day running of the programme, ensuring it is a positive and high performing environment.

· Support with team travel, accommodation and logistics for fixtures.

· Assist with match-day operations for PWR Premiership and Cup fixtures.

· Assist with food provision logistics for match and training days, collaborating with nutrition staff and external partners/vendors.

· Support on the provision schedules, itineraries and operational documentation.

· Lead on the coordination of match day administration for both players and friends/family (parking requests, accreditation, ticketing and family/friends’ box).

· Support the women’s programme financial administration including player expenses, POs and PayHawk processes.

· Manage and maintain administrative processes relating to RFU educational modules.

· Provide administrative support to the medical team, including coordinating external appointments, managing internal schedules, conducting stock takes, supporting screening days and assisting with audits.

· Coordinate player availability and attendance, liaising with coaching, pathway, athletic performance and medical staff to support session planning and load management.

· Support the Kit and Logistics Coordinator with kit activity as required, including assisting with kit audits and kit packs.

· Work closely with Holiday Inn and Surrey Sports Park staff to support the management of parking and facilities.

· Support with the delivery of staff and player social programmes to support a positive, enjoyable and high-performance environment.


The Skills, Experience and Qualifications needed:

· Previous experience in an administrative, operational, events or team-support role.

· An understanding of professional team operations and match-day delivery.

· Knowledge of women’s rugby and a commitment to supporting the continued development of the women’s game.

· Strong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively and work to tight deadlines.

· Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.

· A proactive, positive and solutions-focused approach.

· Ability to work collaboratively with players, staff, suppliers and external partners.

· Strong interpersonal skills, with the discretion and professionalism required when handling confidential information.

· A full UK driving licence and the ability to travel as required.
