We are seeking a passionate, committed individual to join our performance pathway as a GB Wheelchair Rugby Pathway Assistant Coach for 4 to 6 days per month. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing the next generation of high performance wheelchair rugby athletes and helping shape the future of the GB programme.
Key Characteristics
The successful candidate will be :
Curious – continually exploring how athletes learn, what drives skill development, and how sessions can be optimised.
Willing to Check and Challenge – constructively questioning assumptions and practices to enhance athlete learning and programme quality.
Collaborative – par ticularly in support of the Pathway Head Coach and with the broader pathway team.
Athlete ‑ Centred – designing approaches around individual learning needs.
Reflective – engaging in ongoing self‑review and development.
Innovative – take new and novel concepts and apply them to wheelchair rugby pathway.
